Where's C.J.??

This is the weekly book club meeting. Chance, Avery and Cailyn like to grab some books, sit together, and look through their picks for a few minutes. They truly do this every few days, and they always sit together; usually on the floor.

What a crazy bunch!
I was trying to get a cute picture of Cailyn, Avery and Chance (C.J. was sleeping). I had them all standing by the wall, and when Cailyn and Chance walked away, "Mother Hen" was instructing them to come back to their spots. You can see Avery pointing to the wall, saying "Cailyn", as in, "Cailyn, come back here so this lady can get our pictures." Chance's new thing is pointing to his body parts (as well as everyone else's) and telling us the appropriate name. Yes, Chance, that is your nose.

Cailyn must find something shocking, Avery seems to feel proud that she got everyone back into position, and Chance is standing against the wall like the cool kid.

They're just so darn cute. It's so funny to see all of their facial expressions. If you ever want a close up view, you can click on any picture to enlarge it.

Avery's Hair

Chance likes playing with Avery and Cailyn's hair. He especially likes when they have ponytails, so he can tickle it with his nose.

"Look, I can make it do magic tricks."

Avery's not quite digging this.

What's a Toddler's Favorite Word....?

Natalia spots the kitty.

Chance, noticing her eyeing his possession, grabs a hold of it tighter and thinks to himself, don't even think about it.

Oh, but she's already thought about it. Hmm, maybe I could just touch it for a second.

Oh, no!!!! "MINE".

She's got it now.

But not for long.

"MINE".

Oh no, not again.

And so begins round two...

What is it about this stuffed cat??!!

The tug-o-war continues. Both kids are holding on tight, determined to make the kitty "MINE".

The battle continues to the other side of the room.

Finally, Chance tells Natalia how it is. "You see, this cat, well um, how should I put this? Ah, this stuffed kitten is, hmmm, what's the word I'm trying to think of? Oh, yea, it's 'MINE'!!!"

Welcome Niko and Natalia!

The Boy's Club. Clearly, they're wondering why I'm sitting at their table, since I'm not a boy.

"Hey, I've been looking for one of these."

"My car can beat your car any day, any time, any place."

After racing our Matchbox cars, Niko says, "Told Ya!!"

Natalia and Chance see each other for the first time today. When Chance came downstairs from his nap, it was like a magnet drawing them together. Natalia followed him around the rest of the afternoon, and Chance didn't mind at all.
