What's a Toddler's Favorite Word....?

Natalia spots the kitty.

Chance, noticing her eyeing his possession, grabs a hold of it tighter and thinks to himself, don't even think about it.

Oh, but she's already thought about it. Hmm, maybe I could just touch it for a second.

Oh, no!!!! "MINE".

She's got it now.

But not for long.

"MINE".

Oh no, not again.

And so begins round two...

What is it about this stuffed cat??!!

The tug-o-war continues. Both kids are holding on tight, determined to make the kitty "MINE".

The battle continues to the other side of the room.

Finally, Chance tells Natalia how it is. "You see, this cat, well um, how should I put this? Ah, this stuffed kitten is, hmmm, what's the word I'm trying to think of? Oh, yea, it's 'MINE'!!!"

Welcome Niko and Natalia!

The Boy's Club. Clearly, they're wondering why I'm sitting at their table, since I'm not a boy.

"Hey, I've been looking for one of these."

"My car can beat your car any day, any time, any place."

After racing our Matchbox cars, Niko says, "Told Ya!!"

Natalia and Chance see each other for the first time today. When Chance came downstairs from his nap, it was like a magnet drawing them together. Natalia followed him around the rest of the afternoon, and Chance didn't mind at all.

"Little Jack Horner sat in a corner, eating his Christmas pie. He put in his thumb, and he pulled out a plumb, and said "What a good boy am I."

Each time that Chance would eat his blueberries, he'd end up having one stuck on his thumb!
Avery is our Little Mother Hen. She likes to take care of her friends whether it's getting them their juice, giving them a snack (from her own lunch box), or helping them put on their underwear!! Afer C.J. fell asleep on the bean bag, Avery climbed on up, and rubbed his little head, and then tried to give him a kiss on his head (but she had her bink in her mouth).

It's bowling time!!! Working together as a team to get the pins set up. C.J. gets ready......and releases!

This is my new t-shirt from Cailyn. I probably could have gotten a better shot, but hopefully you can read most of it. It gives a definition of what a Nanny is, and is right on the mark! So cute!

All the big kids love Evan, and Evan loves them.

If you look closely, you will see that Avery's lips are puckered. I think it's a bit too early to be chasing the boys little lady!

Avery realizing that she won't get to come to Nanel's house for a little while and it caused her to become all distraught. (Ok, that's not really the reason, but I'd like to think so!) She was giving us a good performance though; practicing for her upcoming acting career.
