Camera-less

For once, I'm not behind on my blog updates, just without a camera. Brandon is in California earning a certification through work, along with visiting family friends. He has the camera in his possession, therefore, Ritter's Critters has to take a break until next week.

In lieu of seeing what we've been up to, you get to read about it! The kids love working with their flashcards (thanks Target dollar bin!!!). We've been learning our shapes, and most of the kids have them down pat. Octagon is their favorite; who would've thought! We continue to work on colors, numbers and letters as well, but their favorite is still the Nemo flashcards (:

As always, they're being perfect little angels for "Nanel/D-yell". WINK, WINK.

Who are you talking to Avery?

Avery was eating Care Bear fruit snacks and had one left. I noticed she was walking around with it, but figured she was about ready to eat it. Then I heard her talking softly and realized she was talking to her Care Bear gummy. Maybe she was preparing it for the path it was about to take to her tummy.

Chance Turns 2 Today

Today was Chance's 2nd Birthday. We had balloons galore, and they were sticking to C.J.'s back.

Matt got the kids to stick balloons under their shirts so they could look pregnant too.

This was our "school" session. We used flashcards to work on our shapes and colors. We also practiced naming the various Nemo characters. This kind of knowledge will be very important in their future endeavors.

The bubble wand got pushed down into the jug - very hard to get out, but they all gave it a shot.

Beauty and the Beast, featuring Gabrielle Raab

Gabrielle did another wonderful job in the production of Beauty and the Beast. She was a town's person, a dancing napkin and a wolf.

There's a New Boss in Town

C.J. had his cars out and began putting them back in his backpack. Chance wanted to help, so C.J. took advantage of this act of kindness and started pointing to each car, telling Chance to pick them up. You can see his left arm pointing.

We had our backyard landscaped, and this is one of our new trees. C.J. wanted you all to see how big it is!
