Evan Has Arrived!

Hey Cute Stuff.

Our little princesses, Avarelli and Caileena (spelling??)

Are we at the zoo? What kind of Critters are kept in this house? Don't worry, it's just Evan in his "protect me from crazy kids and their toys being thrown in my pack-n-play when Danielle goes upstairs" contraption.

C.J., Chance, Cailyn, Avery and Neveah love having Evan around, and do a nice job not smothering him with all of their love and affection. C.J. likes being the helper, and even put the burp cloth over his shoulder so he could feel like a big kid.

Whose Critters are These?

These two little critters found Brandon one morning while he was mowing, and followed him up to the deck for some breakfast. He said they just came trotting down the street and up to him like they belonged to him.

When I came outside all they wanted to do was bite me and jump on me, but they sure did love Brandon.

They didn't want him going back into the house. Looks like they'll make good guard dogs for someone!

Sorry pups...
(The Animal Shelter came and picked them up, so I'm assuming they're probably adopted by now.)

The ultra sound picture was taken around 21 weeks and the belly picture was at 26 weeks. The kids are so excited to have babies hanging around Ritter's Critters. They can't wait for "Baby Evan" and they're all talking about "Baby Boots". They like to give my stomach kisses and say, "wake up Baby Boots; come out and play"! C.J. is adamant that it's a boy and the rest of them, when asked if they think it's a boy or girl, say "it's Baby Boots".

Baby Evan

Little Evan got to spend the day with Avery and Cailyn at Ritter's Critters, and slept most of the time! He will become an official Ritter Critter on October 26th, and while Mom is a bit sad to go back to work, I am ecstatic! The kids are excited to have him everyday too (especially since I told C.J. that the week Evan starts coming, is the week we have our Halloween Party)!

Why won't this work?!

I'm trying, really I am, to update the blog, but it's not cooperating with me this morning, so hopefully by this weekend you can have some fresh pictures!

Little Picassos

I thought it would be fun for the kids to go outside and finally be allowed to get totally crazy and messy with the finger paints. I laid out a large piece of paper, squirted loads of paint on it and told the kids to smear it all around with their fingers and toes. They looked at me like I was nuts! C.J. decided to just go for it, and had a ball. The girls had to think about it for a minute, but then began getting creative, and Chance, well, he just didn't know what to think.

C.J.'s going all out, while the ladies develop a plan of action.

Look at those feet! C.J. even found a rock to paint with (in his right hand). Very clever! Cailyn decided to go the paint brush route.

Being dainty.

"Uh, I don't know about this. I'll just sit right here and watch."

Finishing up their masterpiece!

I'm Going to Dance Circles Around You

Cailyn's getting into the groove.

C.J.'s not having it.

Superstar!

Cailyn was having such a good time, C.J. couldn't resist.

Whew, she's tired from all of that dancing.
JUST KIDDING.

She worked up an appetite. Cailyn likes to pull her crackers apart and eat the cheese in the middle and leave the cracker for architectural purposes. After she made this, she said, "Look Nanel, a triangle."

So serious.

Not so serious.
