Avery started walking around the toys on the floor, going continuously in circles. C.J. and Chance joined in, and then Brandon wanted to have fun too. Whenever he would say "freeze", they would all stop, and well, freeze.
Chance loves giving hugs, and he's good at them too. He missed Cailyn so much he just couldn't resist.
The Critters have been extremely good at getting in their single file lines, although sometimes they are more side by side than front to back! Everyone is getting ready to wash their hands before lunch. Usually, we do ladies first, but C.J., being the oldest, is quick to get in first.
C.J. and Chance's Grandma brought us a peanut butter maker. You throw some peanuts in the head of the elephant, turn the handle, and out comes delicious peanut butter. The kids loved it!
This fun project came from Family Fun magazine. I asked the kids what they wanted me to draw on their shirt. C.J. wanted a rocket, Chance a baseball, Avery a fish, and since Cailyn wasn't there when we planned them, the kids picked out a ladybug for her.
It's very simple. Get a tee-shirt, draw your design first with chalk, and then go over it with a bleach pen. It has a strong odor, so beware! Once they are washed, they're ready to wear.

Avery got some Nemo tattoos at Cailyn's birthday party, and wanted to show all of you how cool they are!

Camera-less
For once, I'm not behind on my blog updates, just without a camera. Brandon is in California earning a certification through work, along with visiting family friends. He has the camera in his possession, therefore, Ritter's Critters has to take a break until next week.
In lieu of seeing what we've been up to, you get to read about it! The kids love working with their flashcards (thanks Target dollar bin!!!). We've been learning our shapes, and most of the kids have them down pat. Octagon is their favorite; who would've thought! We continue to work on colors, numbers and letters as well, but their favorite is still the Nemo flashcards (:
As always, they're being perfect little angels for "Nanel/D-yell". WINK, WINK.

Who are you talking to Avery?
Avery was eating Care Bear fruit snacks and had one left. I noticed she was walking around with it, but figured she was about ready to eat it. Then I heard her talking softly and realized she was talking to her Care Bear gummy. Maybe she was preparing it for the path it was about to take to her tummy.
