Meet the newest employees for Ritter's Critters

Introducing to Ritter's Critters, Gabrielle and Catherine! They came to visit during their spring break, and loved being the new babysitters. They fed the kids, soothed them when they were upset, and simply played anything that was requested. Lots of fun was had!

Fish Games

The Yellow Tang is so much fun to watch with the Kids. She truly plays with them; something a picture obviously can't capture. She waits in the corner for us to come over, and once she's pulled us in, she quickly darts away. Then she swims behind the rocks and slowly peeks out, looking at us, and darts around again, until ending in the same corner. It's like she is playing peek-a-boo at times. If we go to the opposite end, she will follow us, and continue with her games (:

Basement Progress II

The Raab's came for a visit over the weekend to work on the basement, and of course, play with Avery. Catherine (age 5) took all of these pictures.

Welcome C.J. and Chance!!

Today, Avery and I welcomed C.J. and Chance to Ritter's Critters. She was a little unsure of the situation at first, but soon warmed up to her new playmates. For my first day with an 18 month old, 9 month old and a 6 month old, it went pretty smoothly. We're working on getting our rhythm down pat, but it will come before we know it!

The best part of my day was when Avery and Chance (the youngest) were both sitting in my lap, and while drinking her bottle, Avery starts caressing Chance's hand. They continued rubbing and holding each other's hands for quite some time. It was a very peaceful moment and so darn cute. I only wish I could have snapped a picture!

Avery, meet Owen...

During a Browns' weekend, we had some actual RITTER critters at our home. Avery was introduced to Owen, but wasn't quite sure what to think, especially since her Daddy was holding another baby!
Here, she looks a little bashful. Could it be that little Avery thinks big Owen is cute?!
I think we made a match!
Avery was getting ready to go home, but had to say her farewells to Owen.
Owen is thankful that he found a true friend in Miss Avery. He is praying that they will reunite one day!
