Cailyn Visits

Nolan seems to be pondering something in his sleep.

Critter Cailyn came to visit Nolan for the first time. Her Mommy got to see him in the hospital, so now it was her turn! Seeing her made me miss the Critters so much!! We're getting closer to Nolan getting into a routine, which means closer to the daycare doors opening (:

A real toy box for Ritter's Critters! My dad is making it for us, and it's almost ready. YAY!

Nolan made his first trip to Batesville/Oldenburg, IN. this weekend. Here he is with Uncle Landen. When Landen was a baby, we called him Boots (I forget why), so here we have Boots with Uncle Boots!

Nolan got to meet some Ritter cousins and some Great Aunts and Uncles and some of mommy's cousins. He had a busy and fun weekend. Here he is with Aunt Tammy.

Cousin Rachel - who just turned 16. He seems to be looking at her Birthday hat, wondering what in the world she's wearing!

Boots the Barefoot Kicker

I got up in the middle of the night to change his diaper, and once again, he has one sock off.

Little Dreamer

Holding up his head. The Little Bugger is so darn strong, it sometimes makes it hard to feed him and hold him, especially when he's screaming! He likes to arch his back too, like he's going to do a back bend.

Enough showing off for one day.

Here's Nolan!

Our little smiley boy.

This is absolutely his most favorite spot - daddy's chest. He LOVES his daddy (:

Nevaeh and Nolan's first meet and greet.

Daddy's dream (even before Nolan was conceived) was for his little boy to be a barefoot kicker for the Browns. Well, Nolan seems to understand this and is always losing just one sock. We have multiple photos of this happening. Guess it's time to start practicing those field goals!

Avery just adores little Nolie. Her and Matt came over one morning and brought us breakfast, and I think she fell in love with the little guy. Avery is the first little girl to ever kiss Nolan, so I guess that means they're bonded for life!

Lonely for some kids!

It's been over two weeks now and I feel like I haven't had the Critters for two months!! If it weren't for this flooring project still going on, I'd have to have a play date. I know it's more fun to view pictures, so I'll work on getting some on for you all to view. And as you may have guessed, there is still no Baby Boots. What is this kid doing in there??!! As Cailyn, C.J., Avery, Nevaeh, and Chance would say, "Come out Baby Boots!" Maybe he/she can sense that they aren't here, and so "it" feels there is no need to come out and play. I'm now 5 days past my due date and I get to go back on Thursday. I am 4 centimeters dilated and 90% effaced. I started out at 2 centimeters on New Year's Eve........soon enough. Right??!!

My How They've Grown

This is what Ritter's Critters looked like the first day that I finally had more than one kid.

I thought it would be fun to post some older pictures of the kids and the Critter business. It's so neat to see how children grow and change.

What's funny about this, is now you'd never catch C.J. with pudding all over his hands and face. He always ask for a napkin when it's time to eat. As I was browsing through my photos, I found quite a few of C.J. with a vacuum or broom. He loved to sweep then and he loves to sweep now.

Our very first picture of Cailyn!

Cailyn: Little Miss Daredevil. (I was standing behind them - no worries).

This is where I'll end for now. I literally have hundreds of photos, so there will be more to come!

New Floors...are we crazy??

At the beginning of January, this is how big I've become. I'm pretty sure I've grown a bit larger to date, and I'm also pretty sure the baby has dropped. I know this because I can now button all three buttons on my coat. We just visited with the doctor who keeps saying I'll go any time now. They offered to schedule me for induction this week, but we want to let nature take it's course and see what God has planned for us. In the meantime, we've been installing new flooring in our entire house. Our contractor just had a baby this week, so it's not done yet, but hopefully we'll be in the hospital soon, and he can finish up. Doing this all right before the baby - yes we ARE crazy!

Our new carpet upstairs. Brandon also stained the banisters/railings throughout the house in order to match with the new hardwood downstairs.

We are also redoing the fireplace tiles, along with our upstairs bathrooms. These will be last on the list to have completed.

Still a work in progress, but they guys are doing a super job and we're really excited!
